SIX DAYS IN the North Maine Woods... where MOOSE ROAM, eagles soar, and the stars shine brighter than ever.

TOGETHER, EIGHT OF US WILL LEAVE OUR PHONES BEHIND TO MAKE NEW MEMORIES, THE OLD-FASHIONED WAY. WE’LL SHARE delicious meals cooked from scratch over a campfire. WE’LL PADDLE TOGETHER, EXPLORE TOGETHER, LAUGH TOGETHER.

We’ve got all the gear, knowledge, and experience... all we need is you!

join the trip NOW!

designated a “wild and scenic river” by the department of the interior in 1970, the allagash is maine’s most popular canoe trip for a reason. lakes, river, tiny streams, waterfalls... this trip has it all!

A paddle down the Allagash transports you back in time. no houses, no cell service... just cold, clear water, winding through the forest, its path virtually unchanged for hundreds of years.

we’ll take a slower pace down the river, to ensure we have time to relax. each morning we’ll paddle, and in the afternoon there will be time to knit, read, swim, or go on a short hike.

the itinerary we’ve planned is suitable for beginners — no big rapids or long portageS! (IF YOU’RE LOOKING FOR A SLIGHTLY MORE CHALLENGING PADDLING EXPERIENCE, OUR AUGUST TRIP MIGHT BE FOR YOU.) our focus will be on soaking in the sunshine, making connections, and just existing as people did for hundreds of years — humans, together in nature.
